Umut Simsek

Umut Simsek is a translator based in Berlin, working primarily from Turkish into English. His work focuses on Kurdish literature and short prose, including Böğürtlen Zamanı (Blackberry Season), a collection of memoirs by Murat Türk. He currently works with Meyman Publishing House and has experience in simultaneous interpretation at conferences such as the People’s Platform Europe.
