FENG Yurui

FENG Yurui, born in the 1960s, has published her literature in Chinese under the pseudonym of Pipi since the 1980s. She has numerous publications of novels, short stories and essays. Her novel Suowei xiansheng has been translated into German (Ein vermeintlicher Herr) by Ulrich Kautz. Besides writing, she has worked as an editor and a university creative writing lecturer. Previously a DAAD grantholder, she currently lives and writes in Berlin and Shenyang.
